Goran Kuljanin
Psychologist & Behavioral Science Fellow
Goran is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at DePaul University. He brings to the firm more than 17 years of research experience and expertise on understanding any organization’s most important resource: its people. His research focuses on developing and applying computational process theories and models to investigate how organizational members do their work as part of complex organizational systems and team sub-systems, explaining the emergence of various organizational and team phenomena, and implementing effective process interventions to improve organizational and team functioning. In his consulting, he assists organizations by applying advanced analytical and modeling methods (e.g., machine learning, dynamical modeling, organizational network analysis, computational process modeling) on employee, team, unit, and organizational (process) data to develop adaptively effective human resources management, team, and leadership strategies to meet organizational objectives.
Goran has spent 17 years at several academic institutions including Michigan State University, University of Illinois at Chicago, and DePaul University. He has researched topics pertinent to human processes in the workplace, taught courses on business analytics, human resources management, and organizational behavior, and contributed to numerous committees related to the effective functioning of department and college academic units.
Goran earned his Ph.D. from Michigan State University in industrial and organizational psychology. He is a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) and the Academy of Management. He has published his research in the Journal of Applied Psychology, Psychological Methods, and Organizational Research Methods, and his publication history can be viewed on Google Scholar.
