Aaron Sorensen is a Senior Partner at Lotis Blue, where he leads the Leadership, Teams, and Workforce service lines and serves as the firm’s Chief Behavioral Scientist. With 25 years of experience, Aaron helps organizations unlock transformative performance at the intersection of strategy, organization design, and leadership. At Lotis Blue, he leads client engagements where complex and interrelated challenges related to organization design, talent, and execution are constraining growth. Known for his evidence-based and practical approach, Aaron designs solutions that are grounded in behavioral science and built to deliver sustained results.
Prior to joining Lotis Blue, Aaron was a Senior Consultant with Sibson Consulting, where he worked with leading organizations to improve business performance through organization effectiveness and talent strategies. He also served as a Consultant with Halverson Group, a global strategy and research agency that uses psychology and data science to enhance brand influence and innovation outcomes.
A frequent speaker and published thought leader, Aaron shares insights on leadership, transformation, and the future of work with audiences at The Conference Board, SHRM, TALREOS, WorldatWork, and SIOP. His work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, TechTarget, and Talent Quarterly, and he is a two-time contributor to The Talent Management Handbook.
Aaron holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from DePaul University and a B.S. with honors in Psychology from the University of Iowa. He is a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) and the American Psychological Association (APA).
